I’ve learned in my lifetime that it takes an incredible amount of effort to be mean, unkind, revengeful, ugly, spiteful, or to hate or hold grudges against other human beings. And that toxic energy eventually hurts you as much as it hurts others. We humans are going to have conflicts, disagreements, broken relationships, broken hearts, and broken spirits. That is a given and it is called life. But why add to all of that by being broken yourself when you can just as easily show power instead of pain, love instead of hate, and a ready smile even when there are frowns all around you?
